Ink Game is one of the many Roblox games directly inspired by Squid Game, the Netflix series. In this experience you compete against other players to be the last one standing, working through a series of elimination minigames where a single mistake takes you out of the match completely.

The eight minigames

Ink Game is made up of eight distinct minigames: Red Light Green Light, Dalgona, Lights Out, Tug of War, Hide and Seek, Glass Bridge, the Mingle Game, and Squid Game. Not every match includes all eight in the same order, but knowing how each one works ahead of time is the difference between surviving several rounds and getting eliminated in the first one.

Red Light, Green Light

The first challenge is a test of discipline and control. The goal is simple: run toward the finish line when the light is green and freeze completely the instant it turns red. The most important unwritten rule here is not getting overconfident β€” any detected movement, no matter how small, eliminates you instantly.

Tug of War

This minigame splits the remaining players into two teams that have to pull the opposing team into a chasm. It's not about clicking as fast as possible β€” it's about completing quick-time events (QTEs) in sync with your team. Only click when you're completely sure the arrow is inside the bar, and keep in mind the arrow speeds up after every successful click, so the difficulty ramps up as the round goes on.

Glass Bridge

Probably the most nerve-wracking challenge of the bunch. You have to cross from one side to the other by choosing between two glass panels at each step. One of the two panels is tempered glass and holds your weight; the other is regular glass and shatters the moment you step on it. It's literally a 50/50 shot at every single step, making it the most luck-dependent minigame in all of Ink Game.

Dalgona, Lights Out, and Hide and Seek

Right after finishing the Dalgona round, the game lets you pick between two meals before moving to the next round: Kimbap or Onigiri with Soda. The choice isn't just cosmetic β€” each meal gives you a different weapon for the Lights Out minigame that follows. Kimbap gives you a Fork, while Onigiri with Soda gives you a Bottle.

In Lights Out, the goal is to survive two minutes in a free-for-all where any player can attack anyone else. You've got two paths here: take the risk and actively attack with whatever weapon you picked up, or stay hidden and hope nobody finds you during those two minutes. Neither strategy is automatically better β€” it depends on how many aggressive players are left in the round and how defensible your position is.

In Hide and Seek, each player draws a random ball from a machine at the start of the round: a blue ball means you're hiding, a red ball means you're a seeker. Hiders have to survive four minutes or manage to escape, while seekers need to eliminate at least one hider within three and a half minutes to win the round.

The Mingle Game

When the music stops, players have to quickly rush into a room and form groups matching an exact number announced at that moment. If your room ends up with the wrong number of players, everyone inside is eliminated, no exceptions. Since only a handful of players are usually left by this stage, lining up allies ahead of time makes the round much easier β€” try forming a group from early in the match instead of waiting for the Mingle Game to start and scrambling.

General survival tips

A common mistake that costs entire matches is standing too close to the edge of platforms during minigames that involve pushing or hitting. If you get hit while near the edge, you fly off much farther than normal, which almost always means falling and getting eliminated. For the same reason, avoid jumping too often near edges β€” a badly timed jump at the wrong moment can cost you the match just as easily as a direct hit.

Currency and progression

Won is the game's currency, and you earn it for free just by winning rounds. With Won you can buy strength boosts, speed boosts, cash bonuses, and a handful of cosmetic emotes. There are no mandatory paid shortcuts to progress β€” the whole system is built to reward players who consistently survive more rounds.
